CMM Operator

Do you want to be a part of the critical infrastructure in today's growing technology?  Vishay UltraSource in Hollis, New Hampshire is currently seeking a full time Manufacturing Operator.  As a key member of the Support Services Manufacturing Cell, this position has a direct impact on the realization of the cost, quality, and lead time of the end product. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • The CMM Operator will be expected to take a hands-on role to help significantly improve the output, quality of product of his/her team and the competitive posture of the company
  • Most importantly, the CMM Operator represents the Customer by ensuring the inspected product meets all requirements 100% of the time
  • The successful CMM Operator will work well with team members and staff to ensure the best processes and outcomes is being achieved
  • The CMM Operator will operate using an “Error-Free Processing” philosophy to continuously reduce the Cost of Poor Quality
  • The CMM Operator will stay focused on producing the highest quality First Article Reports and will follow through on commitments in both quality and quantity of work

 

Requirements:

  • Must have the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced production environment

  • Cross training on similar equipment may be required in order to meet the goals of the company

  • Previous experience operating/programming a Mitutoyo CMM (or similar) is highly desired

  • Basic understanding of units of measure

  • Must have an understanding of ASME Y14.5 M and Y14.5.1 M
  • High school diploma required. Completed College course work in a technical field is preferred
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clean room environment
  • Must display team orientation in fast-paced environment
  • Experience in displaying a continuous improvement attitude
  • Must have effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Moderate or greater proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Web Express
  • Demonstrated initiative and proactive in resolving issues
  • Ability to meet deadlines and take pride in accuracy
  • Focused, upbeat and positive contributor
