Manufacturing Operator - Entry Level

Do you want to be a part of the critical infrastructure in today's growing technology?  Vishay UltraSource in Hollis, New Hampshire is currently seeking a full time, Sputter Cleaner responsible for supporting daily thin film circuit production by cleaning substrates prior to processing and assisting with other tasks as needed. 



  • Verify all cleaning equipment is in proper working condition to ensure that yields better than 90% are achieved through each operation.
  • Inspect substrates for proper quantity and quality prior to cleaning.
  • Make-up all cleaning chemicals per routings and manufacturing procedures.
  • Know how to clean substrates per manufacturing procedures.
  • Inspect substrates for complete cleanliness after cleaning, before baking.
  • Package substrates after cleaning for In-house, Customer, and Out-of-House sputtering.
  • Provide feedback and data to Manufacturing Engineering to ensure that all procedures and routings reflect current and best methods.

  • Familiarity with AS9100/ISO9001 and Industry specifications such as MIL Standard and/or IPC.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required. Some college coursework preferred. 
  • Previous experience working in a production/manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Must be able to read, comprehend, and interpret dimensional drawings.
  • Demonstrated ability to use a microscope to find and identify defects.
  • Computer proficiency including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Detail oriented, self-motivated with a strong sense of personal ownership and a team attitude.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Must be able to work 1st or 2nd shift.
  • Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident in accordance with ITAR Policy.
