Manufacturing Operator - 2nd shift

Do you want to be a part of the critical infrastructure in today's growing technology?  Vishay UltraSource is seeking a 2nd shift, full time Manufacturing Operator. The 2nd shift Manufacturing Operator will be responsible for processing thin film substrates in the photolithography manufacturing cell. The Manufacturing Operator will help the cell meet its daily production obligations by adhering to quality and workmanship standards and producing work on-time and at the expected production rate.

 

Responsibilities

  • Processing work orders through the cell in accordance with the daily schedule
  • Clean and pattern substrates & photomasks using both manual and semi-automated photolithography processes
  • Properly qualify, set-up & operate alignment machines.  Identify & report any equipment problems
  • Build masks accurately for production use
  • Accurately align photomasks to substrates
  • Responsible for handling chemicals, chemical changeover and disposal of chemicals 
  • Measure critical dimensions on photomasks and product
  • Properly use microscope to inspect photomasks and product to identify defects
  • Completely and accurately record data in the appropriate logs
  • Maintain daily cleanliness of cell
  • Perform mask Inventory
  • Key Interfaces (see below)
  • Reports to the Supervisor
  • Works closely with the team members in the cell and Processing Engineering.

 

Requirements

  • Familiarity with AS9100/ISO9001 and Industry specifications such as MIL Standard and/or IPC.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required. Some college coursework preferred. 
  • Previous experience working in a production/manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Must be able to read, comprehend, and interpret dimensional drawings.
  • Demonstrated ability to use a microscope to find and identify defects.
  • Computer proficiency including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Detail oriented, self-motivated with a strong sense of personal ownership and a team attitude.
  • Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident in accordance with ITAR Policy.
