Where You’ll Work & The Scope:

Vishay UltraSource in Hollis, NH is currently seeking a Sr. Accountant responsible for cost accounting activities as well as managing the day-to- day general ledger transactions including Intercompany transactions, fixed assets, monthly and year-end close activities, and the supervision of an Accounting Clerk. The ideal candidate will have superior attention to detail, a drive to succeed and passion for taking on new challenges.


How You’ll Help Us Build the DNA of Tech:

  • Responsible for the Month-End and Year-End Close Process
  • Responsible for Inventory Transactions and Reporting, including updating Labor and Overheads Rate on Annual Basis
  • Responsible for cost analysis, including inventories, Manufacturing labor, materials, profit planning and cost variance analysis
  • Prepare Month End Financial Statements
  • Prepare and Present Monthly Financial Reporting for Management
  • Perform/review account reconciliations
  • Prepare and review journal entries.
  • Post biweekly Payroll details into local GL, prepare month end Payroll accrual
  • Record fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions in the ERP system
  • Calculate the depreciation for all fixed assets
  • Generate and Review Weekly Cycle Counts
  • Supervise part time Accounting Clerk
  • Become a Super User for our ERP System (Visual Manufacturing)
  • Backup to Division Controller for Monthly and Yearly Division Requirements
  • Assist with Audit Process
  • Assist with developing, interpreting, and implementing financial concepts for Financial reporting, including adhering to SOX and Internal Controls requirements.  Includes maintaining the required SOX documentation.


Experience You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounting.
  • Experience with costing analysis required, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and in using ERP systems.
  • Demonstrated planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have a customer-oriented focus with a creative and winning attitude.
