Head of European Business Marketing Semiconductor (m/f/d)

We are a technical leading supplier of standard and special products with about 20.000 employees in different German and global subsidiary company. Vishay Semiconductor GmbH in Heilbronn is a development and production location of electronic semiconductor-wafer for different divisions and products with 400 employees.

Head of European Business Marketing Semiconductor m/w/d (HN)

Tasks:                               

Your responsibilities/task:

Key objectives of the role

  • Managing a team to maximise the market potential of Vishay Semiconductor divisions to support profitable business growth.
  • Execute pricing co-ordination and optimisation in Europe & with European-led major global customers.
  • Support of the customer base with respect to both technical and semiconductor divisional requirements.

 

Strategic Thinking & Execution

  • Understand how the business sits within the marketplace. Stay current & anticipate trends on broader environment issues having impact on the business. Exploit opportunities, present new ideas & enhance communication into divisions.
  • Balance the needs in the business for profit & revenue growth.
  • Manage & improve systems and processes to allow the business to stay agile & adaptable.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Development of semiconductor business, executing product divisional strategy, initiating new business opportunities, setting pricing strategy, control & coordination of customer price negotiations, working along-side Sales & Business Development teams to enhance customer relationship.

 

 

Our requirements:

  • Electronics, Semiconductor or Physics technical educational background or experience with similar position
  • Semiconductor market & product knowledge
  • Understanding of Automotive customer culture as well as the Distributors
  • Strong communication and presentation skills necessary
  • Experience of commercial negotiation and business management
  • Team-Management experience.
  • Fluent in English & German
  • Willingness to travel across Europe & occaisionally wider internationally
  • Ideally located in Heilbronn
