Do you want to be part of the critical infrastructure in today's growing technology?  Vishay Applied Thin-Film Products is seeking a full-time Quality Assurance - Lead, responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are adhere to in the final quality assurance process.



  • Plan, assess daily commitment, prioritize job flows according to commit dates and capacity, schedule and manage time efficiently,
  • Lead, mentor and guide the Quality Assurance staff in a positive and assertive manner
  • Read and interpret drawings and review critical criteria and special instructions.
  • Assist the team and contribute to building a positive team spirit
  • Communicate well, resolve problems at an early stage and work well in a group problem-solving situations
  • Work and interact with diverse employees and departments in a positive and respectful way
  • Prioritize job flow, plan work for the group and self and be supportive of the team
  • Enter quality data/results in the computer (e.g. Excel), and provide or send  necessary reports



  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, technical school/Associate degree is a plus
  • 5+ years’ experience in quality assurance in an inspection environment
  • Ability to read and understand workmanship standards, military standards
  • Ability to interpret test data according to test parameters
  • Ability to perform First Article Inspection
  • Computer skills, data entry experience and proven working knowledge of computer usage
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • Working knowledge of basic inspection tools and equipment like calipers, micrometers, various gauges, and low- and high- powered microscopes, bonding machines, etc.
  • Proficient in English. Must have good English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team orientation, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with constant change
  • Strong problem solving and multi-tasking abilities required
  • Prior experience working for ISO 9000 certified company
