Do you want to be a part of the critical infrastructure in today's growing technology?  Vishay Applied Thin-Film Products is seeking a full-time Process Lead.  An ideal candidate will assist the backend supervisor/manager in planning, executing, and reporting status of, the daily backend production plan.  Leads the manufacturing processes that take product from substrate form into minute circuit form. Processes include areas called resistor heat treat, 100% probe, submount, dicing, cleaning and packaging. 



  • Assist the backend supervisor in preparing for the daily production meeting by giving status of each job in the backend regarding estimated completion dates and any issues or problems with the jobs.
  • Stage work in each area of the backend in the order in which it needs to be done
  • Write portal requests, PRS’s, and NCRs (Non-Conforming Report) as needed as problems arise.
  • Work with the opposing shifts lead to ensure priorities are communicated and continued shift to shift
  • Comply with safety regulations
  • Participate in team problem-solving
  • Test substrates to meet specifications, utilizing tools; prepares substrates for dicing function by mounting onto small glass plates; perform calculations to instruct cutting machines to dice 4” squares into circuits; use tweezers, chemicals and/or distilled water to remove post-dicing residue; use tweezers to prepare circuits to be shipped.
  • Lead, mentor and guide the backend staff in a positive and assertive manner
  • Help team and contribute to building a positive team spirit
  • Communicate well, resolve problems at an early stage and work well in a group problem-solving situations
  • Work and interact with diverse employees and departments in a positive and respectful way
  • Prioritize job flow, plan work for the group and self and be supportive of the team
  • Enter quality data/results in the computer and follow computer instructions



  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years being a team lead or in a supervisory role
  • Proficient in English. Must have good English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to read and follow prints and procedures
  • Ability to read and understand written and oral instructions
  • Must be able to show initiative in a fast-paced environment
