Photolithography Fab - Lead

Vishay Applied Thin-Film Products is currently seeking a full-time Photolithography Fab Lead responsible for processing thin-film substrates in the photolithography lab.   This position requires the Lead’s expertise in the running of Photolithography processes, assist in new process development support, and help to optimize existing processes.  It requires working knowledge of photolithographic chemicals, processes, equipment and technology.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead in the development and execute photolithography processes to meet customer specifications & manufacturing process flows from customer requirements
  • Cleaning, etching, plating and patterning substrates in both manual and semi-automated photolithographic processes
  • Will work with various type of photo-resist and developing chemicals; plating processes; semi-automated and manual etching processes; pattern aligners; and x-ray, alpha-step, and microscope-based measurement tools to manufacture a wide a variety of thin-film products
  • Act like a trainer to less experienced team members
  • Lead, mentor and guide the photolithography lab staff in a positive and assertive manner, building a positive team spirit
  • Demonstrate solid understanding of what works for the customer (e.g. recognizes functionality versus assessment in inspection criteria)
  • Ensure that all safety guidelines are followed strictly at all times and maintain a clean and orderly environment
  • Adhere to all safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self are performed in a safe manner, as well as other reasonable duties as assigned
  • May be required to perform other duties

 

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent. Technical school/Associate degree a plus
  • 5+ years’ of work experience in a thin-film environment
  • Hands on experience in Photolithography processes, with an emphasis on development and manufacturing
  • Technical knowledge in using equipment like microscope, caliper, masking aligner, etc.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and review critical criteria and special instructions
  • Computer skills, data entry experience (e.g. quality data/results) and proven working knowledge of computer usage
  • Proficient in English. Must have good English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team orientation, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • Able to prioritize job flows, schedule and manage time efficiently
  • Strong problem solving and multi-tasking abilities required
  • Well organized and able to work independently
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with constant change
  • Chemical handling experience
  • Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices and other safety procedures
  • Prior experience working for ISO 9000 certified company
