Product Marketing Engineer

Location: Evere, Belgium

Type of contract: full time permanent contract

Vishay Resistors Belgium in Evere is a full part of Vishay Intertechnology since 2002. The Evere site has a very long tradition in developing and producing ceramic thermistors (temperature sensitive electronic component). With activities in 4 different locations, the thermistors group occupies about 1000 people. The design and development center for worldwide operations is located in Evere.

Function description:

• Analyze customer Applications and requirements: mainly for PTC thermistors, Varistors & RTD’s
• Work on brand awareness by preparing technical product documentation (e.g. brochures, demo’s posters...etc.
• Support within the division and with Corporate Marcom to construct product webpages, parametric search tools etc.
• Support Design in by visiting customers, by organizing technical workshops for Vishay Sales and FAE locations
• Coordinate the preparation of initial samples with production and R&D
• Advise Quality, Production and Development regarding the observations of the products and processes capability changes/evolutions
• Input for market evaluation and competition benchmarking.
• Prepare datasheets and product specifications
• Prepare main data for BOM, Routing and Material Master creation.

Profile:

• Master’s degree in engineering, preferably in Electronics
• 3 years of experience
• Some experience in designing electronic circuits in Automotive or Industrial applications is preferable
• Product application knowledge
• High communication and presentation skills
• Analytical skills
• Structure
• Willingness to work in an international team
• Language: English, Dutch and French
