Vishay HiRel in Dover, NH is currently seeking a Full-Time Inspector, responsible for performing product inspection and/or audits of quality control programs. To inspect components for medical, aerospace, and military applications in a clean, climate-controlled environment. Competitive starting wages with immediate incentive pay available. Responsibilities:
- Performs in-process, final, and packaging inspections
- Ensures in-process and finished products meet specification
- Accept or reject orders once analytical data is evaluated
- Prepare and review customer required data and certification packages
- Minimize downtime by reducing production rework and recalls
- Responsible for accepting or rejecting final product based off documented criteria
- Creating and reviewing customer required data and certification packages
- Electronic submissions of accepted material certifications and test data to customer portals.
- Ability to perform inspections for multiple lines.
Requirements:
- Uses gauges and test equipment to perform inspections
- Refers to and understands assembly drawings, blueprints, specifications and inspection criteria procedures
- Other duties as assigned
- Must understand tolerance designations and blueprint symbols and abbreviations
- Ability to use ASQ/ANSI 1.4 Sampling Procedures and Tables For Inspection by Attributes Specification
- Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to meet Vishay's attendance policy
- Working hours: Full-Time Days
- Overtime may be required
- H.S. diploma, or equivalent.
- Related experience is a plus
Generally good working conditions. May have occasional exposure to dust, noise, heat, or mild chemicals that fall below acceptable limits as established by current government standards. Safety equipment may be required.
