Do you want to be a part of the critical infrastructure in today's growing technology? Vishay Dale in Columbus, NE is currently seeking a full-time Operator 3 Utility Operator Special Wirewound on our 2nd Shift.

 

Responsibilities

  • Fill in at several operations as needed due to dictating workload, vacations, or sick leave. These operations include but are not limited to: printing, coating, and tinning.
  • Receive order from material handler. Assure that print stamp is correct and prints parts per appropriate specification.
  • Receive order from material handler. Coat order on appropriate coater as directed by the appropriate specification.
  • Receive order from material handler. Tin and wash parts per appropriate specifications.
  • Complete and sign necessary paperwork.
  • Clean machines and work area as necessary.
  • Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to all aspects of coating, printing, inspecting, and tinning operation. This includes coating coverage, making sure parts are printed to specification, and parts are tinned per specification.
  • Organizational skills to organize work stations in an efficient manner and keep control of orders. Ability to understand verbal and/or written instructions in order to take work directions.
  • Good hand/eye coordination to operate machines.

 

Requirements

  • High School diploma
  • Three months to one year of experience operating machinery and equipment.
  • Ability to accurately interpret specifications. 
  • Ability to stand during entire shift. 
  • Ability to handle and lift up to 20 pounds. 
  • Occasional exposure to one or more disagreeable elements such as dust, dirt, fumes, heat, cold, noise, vibration, moisture, or oil.
