Sr. Cost Analyst Manager

Vishay Dale in Columbus, NE is currently seeking a full time Sr. Cost Analyst Manager responsibile for managing the Cost Controlling function for a division in North America.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Directs and controls Cost Accounting and related functions following company policy and GAAP.  Recommends and implements cost accounting and internal control procedures within general company policy.   Coordinates work requirements for both Internal and External Auditors.
  • Directs development and maintenance of standard manufacturing cost files for all N.A. manufactured products for pricing, inventory and scrap valuation purposes.
  • Oversees preparation of monthly and YTD P&L, track reports and gross margin reconciliation's by product line.  Maintains variable cost files and price/volume variance analyses by product class code.
  • Responsible for manufacturing cost/pricing development used for OEM, distributor, and transfer pricing.  Participates in major pricing decisions including new product and manufacturing cost /pricing comparative analyses in foreign locations.
  • Submits change requests (DTS) for SAP system and as key user coordinates testing in the system prior to releasing to production.
  • Creates uniform and consistent procedures to control and report inventory valuation (material, labor and overhead) including inventory re-valuation and adjustments for all locations.  Responsible for procedures relating to taking of physical and perpetual inventory.
  • Oversees development of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for all product lines in N.A. Develops policy and procedure for U.S. OH and direct labor fringe cost allocations to all product lines including labor distribution and distribution of material cost and purchase price variance analysis.
  • Responsible for the implementation, coordination and monitoring of accounting /financial systems.

 

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business management. 10 years related experience with emphasis on cost/controlling principles and accounting systems.
