Where You’ll Work & The Scope:

Vishay Dale Columbus, Nebraska is seeking a full time R&D Technician. The R&D Technician will be responsible for assisting the R&D team with projects including characterization of materials, testing of product, design and fabrication of small tooling and demonstration equipment including programming when needed.  Documenting and summarizing test results along with providing insight into the results including how testing was done. Organization of this information is important. May have primary responsibility on some projects in conjunction with other R&D team members. 

 

How You’ll Help Us Build The DNA of Tech:

  • Assisting with characterization of materials and products
  • Documentation and summarization of results and methods.
  • Individual project work.
  • Design and fabrication of tooling and demonstration equipment which includes programming.
  • Assist the R&D team with specific projects as needed.

 

Experience You’ll Need:

  • Associates Degree in Electronics or Electro-Mechanical Technology.
  • Experience working with electrical equipment, Microsoft Office, and electronics.
  • Working knowledge of programming and AutoCad.
