Do you want to be a part of the critical infrastructure in today's growing technology? Vishay Dale in Columbus, NE is currently seeking a Mold-Tech Machinist .
Responsibilities:
- Receives work assignments from Supervisor/Lead-person in the form of blueprint, technical specification or drawing.
- Consults with Lead-person or more experienced Machinist regarding completeness of the specs.
- Builds tooling and consumable parts within the tolerance specified equivalent to the level of work experience.
- Performs production runs on CNC equipment, lathes, punch press, milling machines and related equipment.
- Has a basic understanding of CNC equipment.
- Builds tooling in the most cost efficient manner as determined by the consultation with the Supervior or Lead-Person.
- Ensures that finished product is properly documented and prepared to send to the customer in a timely manner with all necessary documentation.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write and perform arithmetic calculations.
- Prior production experience is desirable
