IT Programmer

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Vishay Dale Columbus, NE is now hiring an IT Programmer and Analyst. This position would design, develop, modify, debug and evaluate programs for functional areas, including but not limited to; finance, human resources, manufacturing and marketing.  Analyzes existing programs or formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, prepares flowcharting, performs coding and tests/debugs programs.  Develops conversion and system implementation plans.  Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation.  Recommends changes in development, maintenance and system standards.  Trains users in conversion and implementation of system.

 

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Develops and programs reports for end-users for various functional areas.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Project leader for new applications including development, debugging and rollout.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Test and debug modifications to application before releasing to users.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Responsibility of key sub-systems as determined by management (example:  finance, bar coding, etc.)
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Evaluate and recommend new supplementary products for introduction into IT/Manufacturing environment.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Interface with other functional departments and IT to plan and implement projects and on-going support
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Day-to-day maintenance of applications (example:  user accounts, configuration changes, etc.)

 

 

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">REQUIREMENTS:

 

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Applicants who wish to apply should have:

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">1 -3 years of experience with manufacturing software systems. Solid analytical and communication skills.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related job experience
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Bilingual a plus
