Where You’ll Work & The Scope:

Vishay Dale Columbus, NE is currently seeking a full time, Human Resources Generalist. This position will be responsible for the implementation and administration of the following functional areas:  recruiting, benefits, employee relations, health/safety, training, policy/procedure communication.  Works with managers and supervisors to effectively lead and manage their employees.


How You’ll Help Us Build the DNA of Tech:

  • Manages complete employment processes and ensures the quality of the workforce continually remains at a high level.  Includes the sourcing, interviewing, coordination with hiring manager and selection of nonexempt and exempt positions.
  • Manages all aspects of benefits administration to include new hire orientation, open enrollment, retirement plan processes including helping individuals with specific questions and educational sessions on retirement planning process, and answer day to day benefit related questions.  
  •  Will help conduct assessments, audits, and incident investigations as well as track all corrective action and follow up related to assessments / investigations.  Evaluates results of assessments and implements programs to facilitate a safety culture and lower WC costs. 
  • Administers company policies and procedures and complies with all state and federal laws including, ADA, AAP, FMLA, EEO and OSHA requirements.


Experience You’ll Need:

  • 1+ years of Human Resource Experience
  • Minimum of an Associates Degree or relevant work experience.
