Where You’ll Work & The Scope:

Vishay Dale Columbus, Nebraska is seeking a full time EHS Coordinator. The EHS Coordinator will promote worksite and production safety and health for the well-being of employees, customers, and the community. EHS Coordinator will support the company’s environmental safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with Federal, State and local environmental, health and safety regulations.

 

How You’ll Help Us Build The DNA of Tech:

  • Assist with training in emergency response, hazardous material handling, industrial hygiene, life safety and ergonomic compliance-related activities.
  • Prepare, submit, and maintain environmental records, reports, permits in accordance with Local State and Federal regulations.
  • Assist with wastewater treatment sampling and reporting.
  • Maintains files and paperwork needed to insure EHS compliance. As well as assist with the ISO 14001/45001.  Environmental health and Safety Managements System. Update EHS specifications.
  • Leads safety, ergonomic and first responder meetings for all Columbus plants while documenting all meeting notes.
  • Assist with inspections, shipments, and waste stream analysis for all Columbus.
  • Collect SDS sheets and upload and mange on the internal system along with meeting with vendors to ensure necessary updates.

 

Experience You’ll Need:

  • 1+ years’ experience in EHS or relative experience.
  • Knowledge of Local, State and Federal Environmental Health and Safety regulations is required.
  • Professional certifications are desirable or willing to obtain within the first 6 months of employment.

 

This position requires access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations. As such, this position is open only to applicants who qualify as “U.S. Persons” according to U.S. federal law.
