Where You’ll Work & The Scope:

Vishay Columbus, NE is currently seeking a Full Time Planning Analyst responsible for scheduling all Commodity Resistor product lines, and maintaining lead times based on current load guidance’s and capacities.


How You’ll Help Us Build The DNA of Tech:

  • Schedules all customer demand on a world-wide basis. 
  • Updates load guidance.                                                                       
  • Calculates lead-times. 
  • Works extensively with North America, Europe and Asia Pacific’s customer service, production, engineering, inventory control, FGS, shipping and marketing departments.
  • Works change orders, cancellations, block reports and expedites. 
  • Analyzes current load to utilize available inventory from other locations before ordering. 
  • Responsible for performing other duties as assigned by Department Supervisor. 
  • Monitors daily Data report to ensure proper loading and backlog alignment.


Experience You’ll Need:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of experience preferred but, will train the right candidate.  
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with all people in the Planning Department, including managers of various departments. 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access, Outlook, and mainframe systems a plus.
