Where You'll Work & The Scope:

Vishay Dale in Columbus, NE is currently seeking a full-time Accounting Supervisor.

 

How You'll Help Us Build the DNA of Tech:

  • Prepares General Ledger entries, prepares consolidation entries, compiles financial statements, analyzes financial data, prepares cash flow and balance sheet reviews.
  • Audit, analyze, and reconcile activity (including inter-company) and balances, identifying problems and providing solutions to avoid financial exposures and to ensure uniform reporting.
  • Responsible for SAP fixed asset system data to ensure an accurate valuation of assets and proper depreciation and disposition of assets.  Maintain and coordinate Projects in Process (CAR) program to ensure all capital spending is within budget and prepare plan/forecast capital requirements and depreciation expenses.
  • Prepares supporting schedules for federal and state income taxes, prepares and files property tax returns, and prepares annual Form 1099’s.
  • Supervision of 1 to 2 employees.  Accurate and timely recording and reporting of company financial data.  Compliance with external and regulatory reporting requirements.

 

Experience You'll Need:

  • 2-4 years diversified general accounting experience.  PC knowledge, specifically Excel, Word and SAP preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • Prior experience supervising employees while accurately recording time and ensuring compliance with internal and external regulatory reporting requirements.
