Do you want to be a part of the critical infrastructure in today’s growing technology? Vishay is seeking a full time Press Operator for 1st shift in our Bennington, VT location.

An ideal candidate should have prior manufacturing experience.   

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate all presses in the Anode Department, inspects the physical conformity of anodes to specification after processing.
• Mix powders needed for pressing to appropriate specification.
• When needed, assist in basic operations of furnaces, delubers and carbon tester.
• Train new press operators and guide the work of operator
• Ensuring that standard operating specs are followed
• Keeps equipment and work areas neat and clean at all times.
• Adheres to company safety requirements.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Must be mechanically inclined and fully trained in the use of micrometers, dial calipers and analytical balance.
• Prior manufacturing experience
• Able to stand for long intervals, have good eyesight and be capable of moving objects in excess of 65 pounds.
