Do you want to be a part of the critical infrastructure in today’s growing technology? Vishay Barry is seeking a full time Operator 2/Screen Room Operator. Candidates need two years of manufacturing experience to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Perform thick film processing to produce passive electronic component arrays.
- Use of substrate drawings, screen printers, measuring scope for critical dimensions, computer for logging work and time sheet, and use of handling chemicals and inks.
- Complete work accurately by following written instructions and adhere to required Safety rules.
- Perform setup, alignments, printing, firing, electrical tests, and breakdown.
- Must be able to learn new products quickly, work independently, and be highly motivated.
- Applicants must be neat, clean and professional keeping workstation in order.
- High level of quality work.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of manufacturing experience.
- Experience with microscope, hand tools, chemicals/inks, and process equipment.
- Experience with prints/specifications, microscopes, computer for logging work and time sheet, and use of handling chemicals and inks.
- High school education and technical understanding.
- Looking to train an individual who is looking for long-term employment. Must be detail oriented, patient, calm and reliable. Candidate will spend years learning multiple levels of Screen Printing including covers, conductors, through-hole, resisters, attenuators and circuits.
- Must be able to work a 1st OR 2nd shift schedule. 1st Shift: Monday through Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm. 2nd Shift: Monday through Thursday, 4pm to 2:30am.
- Relevant: 1 year (preferred)
- Screen Printing: 1 year (preferred)
