Do you want to be a part of the critical infrastructure in today's growing technology?  Vishay Barry is currently seeking an Assembly Operator on first shift.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Operators will handle, test and inspect small electrical components.
  • Tasks include visual inspection and electrical test using multimeter.
  • Tasks may vary requiring flexibility and versatility.

 

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be able to work the 1st shift schedule of 6am to 4:30pm, Monday – Thursday.
  • Previous experience working in a production/manufacturing environment is preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to perform work under a microscope.
  • Good hand/ eye coordination.
  • Must have a continuous improvement attitude and strong attention to details.
  • Demonstrated ability to use a microscope to find and identify defects.
  • Detail oriented, self-motivated with a strong sense of personal ownership and a team attitude.
  • Computer experience and/or understanding required.
  • Inspection and/or assembly experience required.
  • Must be able to follow and navigate through repetitive multi-step computer-testing software.
