The Outbound Warehousing & Commissioning team provides value add by: Picking deliveries out of given storage compartments and reviewing for completeness and accuracy Packaging of deliveries with regard to shipping instructions, common methods of dispatch, types of packaging and other instructions (e.g. Dangerous Goods) in the given framework. Probably adding the corresponding shipping documents to the outgoing goods. Completing transports inside and if applicable outside the premises with professional usage of appropriate means of transportation. A job at this level: Moves items from one place to another, according to a day plan Utilizes specialized forklifts to move heavy loads, responsibly loads and unloads trucks. Accountably receives items or load products in cooperation with truck driver. Checks transportation papers for completeness, and execute prescribed quality sight checks Follows all work rules and EHS regulations applicable to assigned work task(s). Or: Drives midsize trucks to deliver products in a medium range around warehouse. Contribute to load and unload procedures, at customer's or own site.
