Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.?  Vishay Centerline in Hudson, MA is currently seeking applicants for a Dicing Saw Operator. In this role you would be responsible for mounting and cutting substrates using our manual dicing saw systems. This position will help the dicing cell meet its daily production goals by adhering to quality and workmanship standards and producing work on-time and at the required production rate.

Job Location:

Vishay Centerline is in Hudson, Massachusetts. There are around 20 people in this machine shop operation, and it is a first shift operation. This role is an on-site position.

What you will be doing:

  • Mount substrates to be diced to tape frames or wax on glass carrier.
  • Responsible for the set-up, cleaning, operation, and at times minor troubleshooting of the dicing saws, manual and/or automated.
  • Inspect substrates/devices for defects to verify dicing quality and workmanship.
  • Operate measuring equipment to verify product’s dimensional accuracy.
  • Select, install, and change out diamond dicing blades as required.
  • Accurately document production activities, record notes, and actions using electronic (computer) based production logs.
  • Strictly adhere to documented processes, workmanship standards, and procedures.
  • Handle delicate materials without damaging or breaking.
  • Other duties as needed.

What you will bring along:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience running multiple computerized, automated machines.
  • Must demonstrate basic math skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency is required.
  • Familiarity with industry specifications such as MIL Standards and/or IPC standards.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Demonstrated experience with handling small and/or fragile parts.
  • Detail oriented, self-motivated with a strong sense of personal ownership and a team attitude.
