Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.?  Vishay EFI is currently seeking applicants for a Product Marketing Engineer I. The Product Marketing Engineer I is responsible for processing, maintaining, and improving systems including Request for Quote (RFQ) and Part Numbers for assigned product lines. Developing customer relationships through technical knowledge working with Sales. Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.

Job Location:

Vishay Electro Films is located in the beautiful ocean state of Rhode Island in the city of Warwick. There are around 120 employees across three shifts working at our 57,000 sq. ft. facility of manufacturing space. This role is an on-site position.

What you will be doing:

  • Processes RFQ’s from initial customer contact, engineering review, product pricing and quotation. Initiates costing activities as required. Makes recommendations on pricing strategies. Maintains quotation log and tracks wins.
  • Fills out appropriate documentation and updates relevant systems for new part and part revisions both internal and external. Communicates changes effectively to customer service and engineering as required.
  • Provides support to fields sales, customer service and customers on technical issues. Work effectively with other staff members to resolve problems. Participate in customer visits and make technical presentations to internal and external audiences.
  • Research, analyze and compile data including monthly sales reports, sample requests, no bids and others.
  • Maintain price book and price references.
  • Maintain data sheets and EFI web content.
  • Create new marketing literature as required.

What you will bring along:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Science, Technical, Engineering or Mechanical).
  • Works with Military specifications and related ITAR protected information.
  • 1-3 years of related experience.
